SpiffCast is a great program that allows you to remotely access the music, photos, and video files in your computer from any Web browser. You need to configure a Web Server Port, a SSL Web Server Port, a Web Server User, and a Web Server Password. You can choose what directories will be shared. Once you have configured the information, you just have to open any web browser and put down your computer's public IP (the information can also be accessed from your local network by using your local IP). If you don't have a static IP address, you can use a dynamic DNS service to connect to SpiffCast. The shared information will be shown as a webpage. This information will be classified accordingly; music is sorted by album, artist, and genre, and photos and videos are sorted by album. The program recognizes certain file extensions for audio, video, and photo files, but you are allowed to add or delete any file extension. SpiffCast includes a Log where you can observe the sessions opened and the log activity.
